Cornish Food Producers

If like us you enjoy really good food & ingredients, then this section which features a selection of our favourite quality local Cornish producers is for you!

We will keep adding to it as we discover new treats so that you may share in our finds!

CURIO Gin

When you find a good Gin what makes it even better, is that its locally produced and you can’t get closer than Mullion!

Everything we do at Curio is inspired by flavour. Our four times distilled Rock Samphire gin captures the light, fresh sea spray and wild aromas of the Cornish coast.

Hand foraged on the local cliff tops, our rock samphire gin is blended with fragrant botanicals and distilled in small batches, for exceptional quality and a delicately smooth gin. We recommend trying it neat with just ice and a garnish. Delicious. Sold in Mullion village shop and online.

The Chocolarder

The Chocolarder is the only bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Cornwall.

Their products are hand-made in small batches to ensure consistent freshness and quality.

Organic cocoa beans are ethically sourced from selected single origin, family-owned plantations in Java, Peru, Madagascar, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

Beyond the classic dark and milk bars, we love to experiment with the varied and abundant supply of local ingredients in Cornwall to create unique and addictive flavour combinations.

These change over time according to season, inspiration and popularity, so be sure to keep checking back as new products are launched.

The Cornish Ketchup Company was formed by two friends with a passion for great food...

Chris and Kris, two food-obsessed Cornish boys, were fed up of the lack of high quality ketchup on the market and decided to develop a real quality ketchup that complimented all of their favourite foods instead of completely overpowering them.

Armed with a large stock pot, plenty of ideas (and a shed load of tomatoes) they set about creating their very own range of ketchups.

Now available in our little shop!

Southwestern Distillery

gin.jpg

An independent, family company handcrafting Gin and Pastis in tiny batches (the old-fashioned way) by the coast of north Cornwall.

At the heart of their process lies a special, flame-fired, copper pot still called Tamara, goddess of the Tamar.

Together with a harmonious balance of precision and flair, they are able to produce spirits that are truly exceptional.

Tarquin, the founder, pioneer and head distiller is so proud of what they create that he puts his name on every bottle.
